The Days of Elijah – Part 3

The Spirit of Jezebel Seeks to Redefine Boundaries.

Jezebel seeks to redefine God’s laws by moving boundaries between good and evil through convincing people of what is acceptable.  We must remember that she was not the ruler of Israel.  Ahab was the ruler.  Jezebel used Ahab’s authority through emotional manipulation on Ahab.  In 1st Kings 21 she comforted Ahab in his depression because he could not acquire through acceptable, legal means the vineyard of Naboth.  Jezebel first acting out her nurturing instincts reasoned within herself that because Ahab was God’s anointed king and Naboth refused the King’s request that Naboth cursed God.  The truth is that Naboth did not curse God, he honored God because the vineyard was God’s heritage to him and his family and he considered it holy.  She then instructed the leaders of the city to rise up and bring a false witness against Naboth accusing him of cursing God and King which resulted in Naboth’s execution.  Subsequent, she took over and dominated the kingdom.  Ahab did nothing to keep her unruly behavior in check and his silence became his acceptance.  The Jezebel spirit operates in this manner.

Breaking such boundaries is not new.  In Genesis 6 fallen angels broke God’s laws and operated outside their own boundaries by casting off their “first estate” and mated with women.  They created unnatural new beings called nephelim – part angelic, part man.  They created something new from God’s created beings.  They not only broke with God’s boundaries, they broke universal laws, were prosecuted and now are kept in chains in hell as mentioned in Peter’s epistle.

Friends, God spoke this world into existence and in so doing His voice created laws that are fixed and have both boundaries and patterns.  These laws are key to understanding the methods of Satan against the Lord’s church because Satan himself is limited in the manner he can operate.  He has rules of engagement as well or it will lock him up in chains.  Our own thoughts and actions are recorded by the Holy Spirit and so adjudicated by those laws.  Our actions have accountability to those laws and the Church at large needs to revisit the interpretation of those laws.

In today’s Church world, one of those Kingdom laws I am referring to is who is God’s choice to lead – man, woman or both?  It’s a question worth considering.  It has become acceptable within the Church now for women to lead and even considered old-fashioned to refuse women leadership.  The best Biblical example to answer this question is Deborah who rose to say “where’s the men who should lead?”  When taking the lead she stated it was man’s God-ordained role to lead.  This is a major reason why the world is in the shape it is in today, because men are failing to take their lead.  Jezebel has driven her claws deep into the Church by not just moving the boundaries but redefining those boundaries.  It’s all part of her plan.

Think of it like this:  you have two properties that have a boundary line that defines who has the authority but rather than the boundary moving – it changes before your eyes into something else.  For example, imagine a boundary line changing from a fence into a river to separate the properties before your eyes.  Jezebel not only has jurisdiction over her own authority but she now has jurisdiction over the laws governing and defining authority.  She redefines the boundaries and so perverts God’s divine order between men and women!

God’s divine order is that men should rule and women should assist.  That’s Biblical.  The harmony between the two has become non-existent by Jezebel’s redefinition.  Men in the Church at large have lost sight of their own God given authority because they failed to execute their authority properly and women have become frustrated in their lack just like Deborah and stepped up to the position.

Am I saying a woman should not be allowed to preach?  No.  What I am saying is the Church needs to consider who’s corporately in charge and men should be respected in their divinely appointed role by the women.  That’s Biblically proper and natural submission for women.  Women should not be abused into submission which is historically another area where men in the Church have failed and its given way to the over domination of women in the Church.  The truth is that there’s not a Godly women on the planet who won’t follow a man who walks in his own divine authority in an upright manner.  Women want a man to take the lead but lead without misusing his authority.  The truth is (like Deborah) the women don’t really want the job and it’s actually very attractive to women to find a man who is willing to submit himself to God and walk accordingly.

Jesus commanded that men are to love their wives like Christ loved the church but this is actually a rarity in marriages.  What women became frustrated with in the last century is the men’s abuse of their authority by making women feel like they were getting their noses rubbed into it like a puppy getting potty trained.  That’s abusive and it’s not in the model of loving their wives like Christ loved the church.  Neither is the misogynistic manner that many men carry on in a corporate setting when they are personally offended by any woman who doesn’t acknowledge their rule.  These men see any woman who have an anointing to preach or teach as a threat to their masculinity.  That’s not falling within God’s divine order either.  There should be harmony both corporately and within each family between the two sexes.  It’s all in the execution of the authority because execution is defining.

Romans 1:19 says that:  For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God (Himself) has shown it to them.   The Bible tells us that everyone has an instinctive acknowledgement of God’s blueprint of this world and that no one will ever be able to deny that instinct on the final day of judgment. This is the divine order of God.  To redefine God’s order is tantamount to rebellion and Jezebelian.

Now, the Church at large today is dealing with the ever increasing emasculation of men which is long redefined boundaries.  Effeminate behavior in men has become acceptable within the Church at large.  Join me next time when the discussion is how the Spirit of Jezebel seeks to deceive and control by being gender orientated.https://vyzyn.org/the-days-of-elijah-part-4/
